About the Role Our team is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers and partners on security solutions. Responsibilities: - Support sales activities in Latin America by serving as a strategic and high-level regional technical resource for pre-sales engagements and critical opportunities. - Conduct technical meetings with customers and resellers to highlight security products and solutions. - Provide pre-sales technical support to Fortinet field engineers, Fortinet resellers, and distributors to positively influence sales within Latin America. - Assist Fortinet field engineers in performing technical design of customer security solutions and recommend the best technical solution for a given scenario. - Act as a subject-matter expert in pre-sales design reviews regarding product specialization and serve as an authoritative consultant to Field Systems Engineers by providing technical guidance and leadership. - Participate with SE peers to help design secure IP networks, utilizing and leveraging all aspects of Fortinet's product line to create superior solutions in competitive environments. - Provide training to System Engineers at various events worldwide and mentor SE specialists within Virtual Teams. - Serve as Virtual Team Leader and act as a voice representing the Sales Organization from a technical perspective at various meetings and committees. - Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to help identify, qualify, and develop features critical to success. - Write whitepapers, tech notes, and other high-level technical documentation as required. Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) - Minimum ten years of technical experience in networking/computing. - Extensive and proven experience designing, building, and supporting advanced security solutions in a customer-facing role. - Strong network and security skills, including hands-on experience with security products from top vendors. - Deep understanding of security technologies, including Network Access Control (NAC) architectures. - Experience with standard security protocols (e.g. OAuth, SAML, LDAP, OpenID Connect, RADIUS, TACACS). - Good knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. - Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills in English/Spanish (Portuguese is a plus). - Outstanding consultative skills, ability to interpret customer environment and security needs, and articulate the best technical solution. - Ability to work effectively as a team member, collaborate with various teams, and mentor other sales engineers. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. - Fortinet NSE8, CISPP, CISM, and other security certifications are highly desirable. - Spanish and English B2 level required, Portuguese highly desirable.
