The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering processes, as well as the ability to automate and ensure the quality of large volumes of data across various platforms. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for high-volume data processing using Snowflake, Python, and dbt. Build and implement data validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the lifecycle of data pipelines. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for both batch and real-time data processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics. Utilize Airflow to orchestrate and schedule data workflows. Leverage Airbyte for efficient data integration and extraction processes. Apply data quality automation techniques to monitor large datasets, ensuring reliability and scalability. Work on improving data governance and data management practices across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, transformation, and validation. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, ensuring best practices are applied. Skills and Qualifications: Required: Proven experience in Snowflake, Python, and dbt. Strong experience in data validation and data quality automation, especially for large data volumes. Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline automation. Experience in Airflow for scheduling and managing data workflows. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectures, and best practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Preferred: Experience with Airbyte for data integration. Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for data analysis and reporting. Experience with other data quality automation tools (excluding tools focused on ingestion or egress). Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on automation and data quality. Strong hands-on experience with data technologies and programming languages (especially Python).
