Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning 4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants UnifyCX is looking for extraordinary Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning to help build our next-gen omnichannel CX delivery and process automation platform, Lightbird. What Will You Do? As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning, you will design and optimize domain-aware models for language and audio tasks, leveraging both classical ML and deep learning. You will partner with our cross-functional team to develop strategies for high-quality training data and effective model evaluation. In addition to building and refining ML pipelines, you will lead efforts on analytics, dashboarding, and visualizations to communicate insights and drive strategic decisions. You will also collaborate on proof-of-concept experiments, maintain strong documentation, and foster best practices for reproducible research and version control. Who are you? Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or a related field. 3+ years of building practical machine learning models for industry use cases in at least one of the following: language/audio/image/time series tasks. Advanced proficiency in Python. Familiarity with SQL or similar querying languages, and data visualization/dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Understanding of deep learning architectures (Transformers, RNNs) and classical techniques (boosting, bagging). Preferred Qualifications PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related fields. Knowledge of privacy-preserving ML techniques, bias detection, content filtering, and other guardrails for safe, ethical AI deployment in regulated industries. Contributions to open-source AI projects or notable academic publications.
