About the Function: Our Global Business Operations (GBO) team are facilitators, providing strategic, financial, and business services that are critical to the day-to-day performance of our business. Purpose To be responsible for operational, day to day management of financial data to ensure financial control. Ensure control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standards. Support the market to deliver its ambition ensuring adequate representation of the business in their financials. Be responsible for generating insightful analytical reports providing ad-hoc reporting & decision support for the business divisions as required. Accountabilities Accountability for the accurate and fair accounting of the company operations. Interpret reports and data using a range of techniques and tools and communicate to business and financial colleagues, providing technical support and advice to business partners. Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standards. Deliver monthly management reporting processes. Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, controls, compliance, and adherence to global standards and procedures. Develop strong business partner and customer experience demeanor. Build good working relationships with key collaborators: market, FC, STC, STP, and global teams. Provide accurate, thorough, and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested. Additional Requirements Take full ownership of Record-to-Report (RTR) activities from both business and technical standpoints. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines. Serve as the primary point of contact for the RTR team, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end journal entry process, including upstream and downstream impacts. Ensure timely resolution of all open GLAT items. Maintain strict compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and implement process and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency and improve collaborator satisfaction. Ensure the intercompany team operates all CARM and GAR controls effectively and on time, while identifying and mitigating potential risks. Champion a culture of high engagement by training, coaching, and empowering team members, and supporting their skill development. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization and simplification of processes. Collaborate closely with Business Finance and other finance partners to ensure smooth and effective financial operations. Qualifications & Skills Degree or equivalent experience in relevant finance/business, professionally qualified like CA/CMA/CPA. Financial Accounting/Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred. Experience in a Shared services environment is considered an advantage.
