You'll work with a mix of existing customers and new prospects, as well as collaborate with business partners to create compelling solutions, drive local reach, and enable a high degree of transactional velocity. Regional Sales Managers are individual contributors who play a vital role in driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk. We provide our reps with an environment where they can make valuable contributions from day one, while also building opportunities for learning and growth. The work you do will directly impact our customers' experience. Responsibilities - Establish a vision and plan to guide your long-term approach to pipeline generation. - Sell Splunk's products and services, developing new accounts and growing existing ones. - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned region. - Identify and prospect potential customers-including conducting market research and cold calling-to generate new business opportunities. - Build and develop account relationships through personalized contact, understanding of each account's needs, and clearly communicating the value of Splunk solutions. - Understand the customer journey and provide insights to improve the sales process and engagement. - Conduct territory planning to effectively prioritize and lead sales activities in Colombia. - Support Channel Partners in creating net-new customer opportunities and upgrade/expansion opportunities in current accounts. Qualifications - Bilingual in English and Spanish. - 5+ years of experience selling software-preferably cloud solutions, cybersecurity, or observability. Skills - Proficiency in consultative/solution selling techniques such as MEDDPICC and Value Selling. - Skilled in territory planning and forecasting; experienced in managing a full sales cycle. - Strong critical judgment, including the ability to analyze complex situations, assess risks, develop creative solutions, and make informed decisions. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey value propositions to customers. - Confidence and executive presence when engaging with C-level stakeholders.
