The Role We seek a creative and cooperative Content Writer/Editor for our new "Colombian curriculum" product. The ideal candidate is a secondary teacher or has experience in secondary education, capable of developing resources aligned with Colombian curricula for grades 1-6 of secondary education across various subjects. Your responsibilities include creating and editing educational content, ensuring accuracy and quality, and collaborating with team members across LATAM via weekly meetings. Daily Tasks Create resources and lesson plans for secondary education following the product scheme. Review and edit content produced by writers for accuracy, appropriateness, and challenge level. Participate in team meetings and collaborate to achieve sprint goals. Learning Opportunities Develop materials for the Colombian curriculum. Collaborate with content creators and designers. Learn to develop teacher content from ideation to publication. Enhance remote collaboration skills. Understand market needs to develop commercially aware educational resources. Team Work with Elsa Gómez, Colombia Country Manager, and other team members including designers and educators. Qualifications At least 4 years of recent teaching experience in Colombian middle or secondary schools. Strong understanding of Colombian educational models. Native Spanish speaker with excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills. Proficient in English at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written. Preferred Skills Experience with Colombian curricula (national or international). Use of educational planning tools. Experience as an English teacher in Colombia. Creative and proactive attitude.
