Job Purpose: Serve as one of the top-performing and most proficient engineers in designing, producing, and testing high-quality software that meets specified functional and non-functional requirements within the time and resource constraints given. Main Responsibilities and Deliverables: Work with specialist software engineers, architects, and managers in the design process for software products and services; contribute to the implementation planning and estimation. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective designs. Communicate software designs to other software engineering staff members through code and textual and pictorial documentation as needed. This includes interfacing directly with other groups inside and outside of R&D as needed. Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of the software through leading by example to ensure complete quality coverage and high degrees of responsiveness to any issues that come up throughout the complete lifecycle of the software. Ensure the intended design and quality levels are met through regular code reviews and testing of the software in development. Mentor and coach peer and junior engineers and champion best practices and encourage software craftsmanship. Personally contribute high volumes of quality code that is delivered with that of your colleagues in regular releases and deployments. Should be able to lead a scrum team of developers and QA engineers to deliver as per roadmap commitments. Qualifications / Education: Experience: 5+ years English B2 Proficiency Degree in computer science or equivalent from a reputed institute Proficient in SQL. Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various databases. Experienced working with Databases (MySQL/Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, Redshift, Redis, Druid) at schema definition, query performance tuning. Experienced in efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support reporting needs. Experience developing and delivering data warehousing and data lake designs, development and ETL processes including delivery of data warehouse and data lake directly for end customer usage. Experience developing scalable multi-tenant SaaS-based solutions. Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructure and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Engine, or Azure. Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifactory. Experience working in an Agile methodology development environment and using work item management tools like JIRA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to have: Hands-on experience on design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Superset to meet business requirements. Proficient in front-end technologies JavaScript, CSS, and data visualization libraries. Experience with Graph (Neo4J) and Time series (Timescale) databases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
