We are looking for a QA Engineer Consultant with strong experience in manual testing of backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and skilled at working in Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Design and document test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke tests. - Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps . - Collaborate closely with developers to validate fixes and ensure resolution. - Work with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements. - Provide feedback on usability, performance, and design consistency. - Suggest tools, techniques, and practices to enhance QA workflows and productivity. - Contribute to QA standardization and best practices. - Maintain updated test documentation and track quality metrics and testing progress. - Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Documentation Tools: Confluence, Google Docs, Excel - Methodologies: Agile / Scrum - Version Control (nice to have): Git Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in manual QA with a focus on backend and API testing. - Experience working in Agile development environments. - Strong analytical and documentation skills. - Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and verbal). Nice to Have - Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium , Playwright , or RestAssured . - Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
