This innovative individual has experience, seeks continual learning, and enjoys sharing expertise. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or in consulting is a plus. Role responsibilities Manage an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform in Azure using services such as Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks. Enable and configure connections between data sources to ingest data into the EDW. Manage the analytics platform in Azure using services like Power BI and Azure Logic Apps. Support security for the data platform, including SSO and access controls. Lead the design and deployment of future Azure services or enhancements to existing Azure services. Establish Azure governance frameworks, including cost management, compliance, security policies, and monitoring standards. Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of Azure platforms. Design Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure DevOps. Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Architects to implement stored procedures. Require 5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years using Azure services. Have a strong understanding of data products in Azure, including Synapse, Power BI, and Databricks. Experience writing Synapse or Azure Data Factory pipelines. Possess exceptional problem-solving and analytics skills. Have strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Preferred qualifications 7+ years of experience, with 5+ years using Azure services. Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-305 or AZ-104. Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform. Experience in consulting services. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash. Experience with Azure Fabric.
