Job summary Are you an experienced and meticulous bookkeeper looking to play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing finance firm? We're a dynamic bookkeeping and finance company dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions, helping our clients make informed decisions and achieve remarkable growth. In just six months, we've grown to over 31 clients, and we're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our expanding team Qualifications - At least 5+ years of progressive experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a multi-client environment or accounting firm. - Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is a must. - Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. - Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail in all financial records. - Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and complex financial issues independently. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. - Superior organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple client accounts and meet deadlines. - A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities - Manage End-to-End Bookkeeping: Oversee and perform comprehensive bookkeeping duties for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries. - Reconciliation Expert: Conduct thorough bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. - Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and other financial reports as needed. - Client Collaboration: Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service and clear communication. - Tax Preparation Support: Support the tax preparation process by organizing and verifying financial data. - QuickBooks Mastery: Utilize QuickBooks extensively to manage client accounts, ensuring efficient and accurate record-keeping. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline bookkeeping processes and enhance efficiency for our clients and the firm. - Quality Assurance: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and adhere to relevant accounting principles and company policies.
