The company fosters excellence, values diversity, and encourages ongoing development, empowering individuals to shape the future of IT solutions. **Key Responsibilities**: - Architect, design, and implement SD-WAN networks, with a focus on Cisco Viptela, Meraki, and Fortinet technologies. - Review existing SD-WAN architectures to identify design gaps and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. - Offer technical leadership and insight for project deliverables, assisting with resource planning and project execution. - Collaborate with architects from IP, Automation, and Security teams, as well as operations, to implement infrastructure and advance the SD-WAN strategy. - Provide technical guidance to team members on key architectural decisions and platform technologies. - Document and maintain technical standards for SD-WAN products and solutions. - Approve system requirements and estimate project timelines to ensure timely completion. - Analyze industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and market changes to evolve SD-WAN features and capabilities in alignment with business needs. - Create scalable, reliable technical architectures that support business objectives. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (required). **Work Experience**: - 7-9 years of experience in network engineering or equivalent expertise (required). - 4-6 years of experience leading infrastructure technology projects (required). - 7-9 years of experience with LAN/WAN routing protocols (required). - 7-9 years of experience with QoS, MPLS, BGP, L3VPN/L2VPN, IGP, OSPF, OMP SD-WAN, VRRP (required). - 7-9 years of experience with Next-Generation Firewalls and Zone-Based Firewalls (required). - 7-9 years of experience in SD-WAN hybrid model deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (required). - 4-6 years of experience designing and managing multi-site SD-WAN migrations (required). - 4-6 years of experience with virtualization technologies and hypervisors such as Xen, Hyper-V, KVM, or ESX (preferred). - 7-9 years of expertise in network planning and optimization (required). **Skills**: - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to prioritize and manage complex tasks independently. - Proven experience in managing vendors and consultants effectively. **Language Skills**: - Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). **Licenses and Certifications**: - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) within 1.5 years (preferred). - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) upon hire (required). - Cisco Meraki Certification upon hire (required). - Cisco SD-WAN Certification upon hire (required). - Fortinet Certification within 1.5 years (preferred).
