**Who We Are**: REA (RealEstateAccounting.co) is a fast-growing, technology-enabled real estate company that works with large real estate investors and property managers to automate their back-office financial operations. **What We Are Looking For**: We are seeking a remote Sr. Property Accountant with significant real estate accounting and Client facing experience leveraging **Vantaca** software. In this position you will be the main contact for our Clients, help oversee & manage the monthly bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy across a portfolio of Clients. **Qualifications & Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - Certified Public Accountant preferred (or equivalent experience) - 2+ years experience working with Vantaca **(required)**: - 2+ years overall experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company - Able to lead Client meetings - Knowledge about recording purchases, dispositions, refinancing, capitalization of costs throughout real estate development, and rental property income statements - Passion for real estate, perfect books and providing business insights to clients - Strong English verbal and written skills as you will be one of the points of contact for the clients - Able to hit deadlines while staying calm under pressure - Extremely detail and process oriented - you strive in creating organization - Proficient with online tools like Slack, Google Suite **Job Duties**: - Availability 7am-3pm CST. - Timely client communication - Collaborate with Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director (CSD) on the team - Complete bank reconciliations, accounts payables, and accounts receivables - Answer team member questions, provide support for Client on questions - Assist with month-end close and report generation - New property set up, move-outs, owner draws, management fees - Ensure monthly deadlines are achieved **We’d Love You If..** - You are a CPA - You are entrepreneurial in nature - You have experience managing multiple clients/projects at once - You have real estate experience outside of accounting - You have prior ‘Big 4’ or related work experience - You ‘know enough to be dangerous’ when it comes to real estate tax implications - You are hardworking, but easy to get along with even during times of increased workload - You are a problem solver always thinking about ways to make things more efficient **Experience**: - Vantaca: 2 years (required) **Language**: - English (required)
