Job Title Managing Consultant Cyber Security SME - Advisors Client Services The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and technology to provide our clients with strategic insights and recommendations. These services include cybersecurity consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in payments, Mastercard Data & Services also works with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights from within and beyond its network. Make an Impact as a Managing Consultant and Cybersecurity Practitioner As a Managing Consultant, you will develop client strategies, lead engagements across industries and project types such as cybersecurity risk management, data governance, or analytics. You will generate hypotheses, structure engagements, and lead project teams to identify analyses, synthesize findings, and present impactful recommendations. You will mentor junior team members and contribute to Mastercard’s knowledge base. You will also shape the cybersecurity practice’s future and have a significant impact on our clients. Qualifications - Undergraduate or master’s degree in technology or cybersecurity-related fields and relevant work experience. - Experience in a consulting organization at manager level or higher with team management responsibility. - Knowledge of security standards like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST, CIS, CSA; hands-on experience in cybersecurity assessments or audits. - Experience building programs that balance protection and business needs. - Experience with security technologies such as awareness training, cloud security, disaster recovery, endpoint protection, network security, IAM, secure software development, SIEM, third-party risk management, threat and vulnerability management. - Desirable certifications: CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to structure data-driven solutions. - Ability to build trust with clients at all levels. - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SQL/data skills are a plus. - Eligible to work in the country of application and to travel as required. - Proficiency in English; Spanish and Portuguese are desirable.
