JOB SUMMARY: Ensure the availability, reliability, and operational efficiency of all main and auxiliary mechanical equipment in the plant by implementing effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, guaranteeing compliance with safety and quality standards established by regulatory entities and the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance of equipment associated with the combined cycle power plant to ensure tasks are performed effectively and efficiently. Implement and ensure compliance with the preventive and predictive maintenance program. Maintain accurate and complete records of all maintenance activities performed, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements. Request the necessary services and materials for the department and manage assigned contracts. Keep maintenance manuals updated and ensure proper documentation of information. Manage the financial and material resources assigned to the department, ensuring their proper and efficient use. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability. Identify and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic techniques. Ensure assigned plant areas remain clean and organized. Implement training plans for the plant's mechanical maintenance personnel. Keep the training and qualification program updated for vehicles, forklifts, cranes, and other special operational equipment. Ensure that maintenance personnel and third parties use the required protective equipment while performing their tasks. Oversee the use of the maintenance management system and the plant's inventory control system, including training assigned employees on stock requests. Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel under supervision, complying with established occupational health and safety standards. Ensure that contractor work meets quality standards and complies with quality, environmental, and HSE policies. Perform any other duties assigned in fulfillment of the role's mission.
