Server Infrastructure Specialist O-I is revolutionizing the glassmaking industry by reimagining the traditional manufacturing process. This position involves supporting, maintaining, and optimizing server hardware, operating systems, and related software. Additionally, this role ensures adherence to standards around the server platform, monitoring services, and server management infrastructure. Key responsibilities also include implementing and supporting the server technology roadmap. - Collaborating with global IT operational support groups, both locally and internationally - Maintaining awareness and commitment to employment laws, workplace safety, HR policies, quality, and environmental responsibility - Developing and maintaining standards, processes, policies, and lifecycles as defined in O-I's Server Management Program, aligning with industry best practices - Deployment and configuration management of the global server environment and associated infrastructure - Supporting the implementation of the server technologies roadmap in conjunction with the IT Architecture team - Identifying solutions to enhance service delivery and operational aspects of server technology through simplification, automation of processes, and technology - Supporting functional and technical designs/plans for the deployment and delivery of IT solutions - Researching emerging technologies and recommending those that clearly link to current and future business needs - Assisting IT projects related to Servers and related infrastructure services, as assigned
