Linux Kernel Engineer - Ubuntu We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Kernel Engineer to join our team at Canonical. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development and maintenance of the Ubuntu Linux kernel, collaborating with a globally distributed team of experts. About the Role This role involves working closely with external silicon, cloud, and hardware manufacturer delivery teams to ensure that bleeding-edge platforms are enabled for Ubuntu. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues in the kernel reported by customers, the community, and discovered through rigorous testing. You will take personal responsibility for delivering a flavor of the Ubuntu Linux kernel, improve tooling and automation for delivery and test of Ubuntu Linux kernels, and submit, review, and apply kernel patches, working with both internal and external upstream maintainers.
