Location: Peru, Miraflores Department: Senior Management Opportunities Employment type: Full-time Experience: Director The General Manager is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of the property by providing the highest possible quality guest service and product, fostering a positive work environment for all employees. They serve as a role model of Belmond's values and principles, elevating the property to the highest levels of excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Ensure all departments and operational aspects run smoothly and align with Belmond brand values. 2. Maintain Leading Quality Assurance standards (LQAs) and Manifestos across the business, including strategy management to review and analyze procedures for compliance. 3. Drive the property to meet monthly NPS (Net Promoter Score) targets and implement improvement action plans as needed. 4. Develop the yearly property budget, resources, fixed overheads, and materials in coordination with the Finance team, ensuring financial targets are achieved. 5. Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations, company finance policies, applicable contracts, and corporate policies. 6. Manage, motivate, and develop the team to help them reach their potential, contributing to business objectives and Employee Opinion Survey results. Requirements - A business and/or hospitality-related qualification. - Experience as a General Manager or Operations Director in a luxury operation. - Experience working with diverse stakeholders from different cultures. - 4 to 6 years of upper-level management experience in hospitality. - Business and/or hospitality-related degree. - Ability to lead and manage a team by example. - High creativity, enthusiasm, and flexibility. - Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel. - Excellent interpersonal skills, both internally and externally. - Ability to translate vision into tangible actions that benefit the property. - Extensive experience with luxury hotels. - Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
