6 - 8 years experience - Strong knowledge of Oracle (RMAN, Data Guard), MSSQL (AlwaysOn, Mirroring), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and basic knowledge of NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.). - Experience with AWS RDS, EC2 database management, and migration tools (DMS, SCT). - Hands-on experience with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and failover testing. - Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis. - Experience in Linux or Windows OS scripting (shell/command/other), with a strong focus on automation. - Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automation. - Handle complex database incidents, performance tuning, and query optimization. - Set up and manage high-availability solutions (RAC, AlwaysOn, Replication, etc.). - Troubleshoot database connectivity, replication issues, and security concerns.
