Required experience: - 5+ years of experience working in a Release Management role. - At least 1 year of prior experience as a Tech/Support Engineer. - Experience working with Packaged Software release coordination. - Hands-on-experience with Kubernetes /Terraform/Docker is an added advantage. Key skills - Must have experience writing scripts (PowerShell) to build and deploy environments using Infrastructure-as-Code. - Working knowledge of Azure DevOps. - Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other ticketing system. - Ability to convert manual or semi manual processes to be fully automated. - Ability to research various tools platforms to integrate with DevOps instances. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and test automation to enhance software delivery process. - Azure DevOps Development Environment. - Microsoft Visual Studio. - English verbal, written communication and listening skills. **Education**: - Requires a BS Computer Science degree or a related area. Soft skills - Highly organized and detail oriented. - Able to articulate issues, build consensus around recommendations, and define next steps. - Ability to work directly with internal development teams to coordinate implementation of new software releases. - Ability to work with teams to determine root cause system of production issues Outstanding Job Duty 1: Application Support, Enhancement and Defect tracking - Coordinate with Univision teams, customers and third-party consultants and vendors. Participate in outage calls, conference bridges and meetings to manage resolutions requirement and propose cost effective solutions. Expertise required to seamlessly switch between business and technical discussion. Coordinate with Agency Team and IT Support to clarify Order and Invoice EDIs (electronic document integrations) process and to jointly investigate on reported issues. - Responsible to develop and maintain Oracle database SQL scripts to service ad-hoc reporting requests. Job Duty 2: Process Improvements - Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, techniques and tools to support task performance. - Develop and maintain scripts to automate the Local Sales integration batch processes implemented in Powershell. - Develop tools to automate and streamline repetitive support tasks and issues. Job Duty 3: Release Management - Liaise with vendors for implementation of new software products or systems and resolution of any adaptation issues. - Recommend, schedule, and perform Sales systems improvements and upgrades. Deploy changes in Sales systems using the Change management process in ServiceNow. Independently install, customize and integrate Sales software packages to automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting effectively. - Work with vendor release team and deploy the developed product in client location. Job Duty 4: Project implementations - Identifying and preparing list of enhancement/features required to be implemented in the new annual releases. Working with vendor’s development team on the resolution required. - Responsible for Defect reporting, analysis and solutioning. New release installation, User acceptance testing and business sign-off. - Work with support and project teams to assess the technologies, security, infrastructure, and implementation requirements.
