What we’re looking for: - First + foremost: An experienced video editor professional with remote team experience, a proactive communication style, and the ability to manage multiple projects with speed and precision - 2+ years editing video content (freelance, in-house, or agency) - English fluency (C1 or higher) - Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar - Frame.io or similar video collaboration tools - Strong grasp of social-first editing styles and storytelling - Creative + structured approach that aligns with brand consistency - Motion graphics and sound design skills - Experience with content for creators, personal brands or digital marketing teams - Comfortable suggesting fresh editing strategies to elevate our visual identity - Exceptional communication + detail orientation - Strong organizational habits and a high attention to detail - Passion for YouTube + familiarity with creators like Iman Gadzhi, Dan Martell, or Alex Hormozi - Winning energy - thrives under pressure + keeps it fun - Aligned with our Core Values: SCRAPPY : We’re always looking for more efficient ways to do things. What you’ll be doing: - Edit content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and paid media - Craft compelling hooks, pacing, captions, b-roll, and effects to boost engagement - Leverage brand assets (graphics, music, LUTs, templates) and add your creative edge - Follow brand + project guidelines with full ownership of the final product - Collaborate via Google Drive, Frame.io , or similar tools - Stay on top of deadlines and maintain clean, shareable project files *You must provide a portfolio or reel of your work to be considered for this position. Any applications submitted without a portfolio or reel will not be considered.* This is a remote contractor position based in Colombia . You should be reliable, self-motivated, and growth-oriented, with proven editing chops and a collaborative mindset. You'll be a key part of our Marketing team, working closely with our Marketing Manager and in-house Videographer to produce dynamic, brand-aligned content across platforms. - Annual salary: $15,000 USD per year ($1,250 per month) - Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (some flexibility required) - Tools: Time Doctor (for productivity tracking) - 30-day probationary period Next Steps Before interviews, you’ll complete a short paid skills test ($50 compensation) to edit 60 seconds of provided raw footage.
