You make the difference.Your RoleThe Sea Logistics Healthcare/Reefer Operational Care Manager is responsible for managing the Healthcare/Reefer Operational team(s). They are the experts in operational processes and drive a team to provide first-class services according to global and national sea logistics standards. They are responsible for operational excellence to support growth, gross profit, and manage indirect expenses for the Healthcare/Reefer Team. The manager oversees and coordinates a team of Operations Supervisors, Team Leads, and Specialists within the Operational Care Center (OCC). They lead efforts to optimize operational processes and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) performance within the team. The Operations Manager ensures the delivery of the best operational support for new business opportunities, improves underperforming areas, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the department.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the Operational Care team, including supervisors, while establishing and maintaining a positive employee experience.Ensure that disciplinary and poor performance issues are addressed promptly and appropriately.Achieve or exceed operational productivity KPIs while maintaining high data quality and compliance standards.Collaborate with operations management to implement process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the OCC.Maintain regular alignment with operations management regarding KPI and productivity reporting.Review and understand KNQSHE policies, regulations, and GxP (Good Practices) compliance.Participate in frequent Business Review Meetings with each Healthcare leader.Report improvements, concerns, and failures immediately to the appropriate national team.Coordinate with national healthcare teams to identify and communicate potential process gaps to OCC & CCL Leadership Teams for ongoing process and practice improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.Your Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's degree in International Relations or a related field.At least 4 years of experience in reefer sea logistics operations.At least 2 years of experience in people management.Experience in commercial development is a plus.Fluent in English.Good Reasons to JoinAt Kuehne+Nagel, we are committed to creating a company culture that puts people first.
