As an engineer in an early stage and high growth company, you will have a significant impact on both technical implementation and help steer our technology roadmap. You'll get to do: - Drive backend architecture to the next stage of our systems - Work in a team that values doing things 'the right way' - Contribute in an early-stage company with an engineering first culture - Be involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to delivery - Collaborate with the cross-functional team members to develop technical requirements - Write clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable libraries - Write unit, functional, and acceptance tests - Troubleshoot and support production applications You'll bring to the role: - 5+ years of software development experience - Proficiency with PHP language & Laravel framework - A champion of agile methodologies who enjoys shipping code often and confidently - A track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions - The ability to proactively recommend initiatives to improve our engineering technologies and culture - A willingness to work in a collaborative environment where everyone helps each other grow - Owning of the product and being proud of the quality of your work - Excellent communication skills and the value of good documentation - Understanding of the challenges of early-stage company priorities - Skills in DevOps, Big Data / Data Science, Machine learning, GIS would be beneficial We offer: When you join our team, you're not just accepting a job.
