Responsibilities include: Building data-driven solutions using AWS data technologies. Designing and implementing data pipelines for large data volumes. Researching and proposing new approaches for data storage and analytics in AWS. Maintaining and optimizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses. Developing algorithms and processes to improve data accessibility and quality. Monitoring system performance and identifying risks or issues. Collaborating with AWS teams to validate and implement performance improvements. Working with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, Software Engineering). Documenting data workflows and maintaining architecture diagrams. Minimum requirements: At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong experience with Python. Solid knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Hands-on experience with AWS data services (RDS, Redshift, Aurora, Athena, Glue, EMR). Understanding of ETL processes. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of PySpark and building Data Lakes/Warehouses. Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Step Functions.
