Job Title: Manager, Risk Management-2 Overview: Theprimary responsibility of the Manager, Risk Management is toprovide support to the Mastercard Customer Risk Management (CRM)team, including its risk managers and senior leaders to help manageMastercard’s CRM function globally by being the team’s liaison fornew initiatives (e.g., products, services, acquisitions) which mayimpact Mastercard’s risk exposure at a global level. Mastercard hasapproximately $77B in credit exposure to financial institutions andother counterparties worldwide, placing the CRM’s role as a keypart of its evolving and quickly growing business model, with newservices, products and acquisitions taking a critical role in thecompany’s expansion. The magnitude and strategic nature of thisexposure necessitates periodic engagement with senior management,Mastercard’s sales, franchise, and product organizations as well asour customers (issuers, acquirers, etc.). This provides greatopportunities to learn and grow your career within Mastercard.Role: The primary responsibility is to support the CRM team toensure customer risk is appropriately assessed, managed, andmitigated in accordance with Mastercard’s policies & proceduresand risk appetite framework. This includes, but is not limited to:1. Participate in the global product review process, being CRM’sliaison for new services, products and M&A; activity which mayimpact CRM at a global level. 2. Be responsible to follow projectsthrough, ensuring that credit risk is taken into consideration andis top of mind for the business teams. 3. Set up the framework forthe CRM team to incorporate such new initiatives to the team’s BAUroutine. 4. Certify a smooth transition to the CRM team BAU processonce new initiatives become live. 5. Cooperate with regional leads(CRM VPs) to ensure both global and regional initiatives are wellmapped and accounted for. 6. Project manage/coordinate withrelevant teams on controls and enhancements necessary toaccommodate new initiatives within CRM’s risk standards andMastercard’s risk appetite. 7. Participate in various processimprovement initiatives and sharing best practices. 8. ProposePolicy and Procedures updates based on feedback collected from newglobal initiatives. The role will require strong credit riskbackground, a good understanding of Mastercard's business model,systems and tools and usage of various data sources relevant forthe customer risk management function. All About You: 1.Postgraduate degree in business, economics, econometrics orequivalent. 2. Experience in leading complex projects with multiplestakeholders. 3. Experience in credit risk assessment and financialstatements analysis; experience in / knowledge of the bankingsector. 4. Accuracy, self-drive, accountability and sense ofurgency. 5. Outstanding written and verbal English communicationskills. 6. Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint user. 7. Positiveattitude, strong work-ethic, and good sense of humor.#J-18808-Ljbffr
