Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Bogotá, Colombia Time type: Full time - This role is part of the Global Business Services Center (GBSC). - The successful candidate will provide excellent accounting services to Mastercard Worldwide. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for: - Delivering timely and accurate accounting services. - Reviewing contracts and creating customers, deals, and incentives in the Mastercard Contra Revenue System (CRS). - Ensuring timely and accurate closing of the CRS sub-ledger and Oracle general ledger, including journal entries. - Preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations. - Performing detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests. - Providing support and customer service to business partners worldwide. - Recommending and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency. - Monitoring performance indicators and performing ad-hoc reporting and analysis. - Partnering with financial systems regarding CRS requirements, data, reporting, and functionality. - Supporting SOX control compliance. - Performing other duties as required. Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance. - CPA or MBA preferred. - Knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts. - Experience with revenue, contra revenue, or contract management preferred. - Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. - Ability to deliver accurate results under deadlines. - Experience with financial/ERP systems, preferably Oracle. - Experience with process improvement projects. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Fluent in English.
