Position Overview: This role involves System Administration support for development and production environments for a mission-critical Identity and Access Management (IdAM) system. Responsibilities include working with a team to obtain and configure Virtual Machines (VMs), loading Operating Systems and software, performing security hardening, patching, and monitoring status. The role also supports ISSO and issue management, requiring knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, and functions. Candidates should be able to read, write, and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation independently. Required Capabilities for Level 2 System Administrator Critical Skills: Experience with configuration and maintenance of Virtual Machines Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl) OS and software application patching (e.g., IAVA, version updates) Container Technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) Desired Skills: Experience with IdAM directories (Active Directory and/or LDAP) Ticket tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker) Familiarity with Ansible and MongoDB Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications 10+ years of System Administrator experience Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Certifications DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if activities include CWIP tasks. Additional Requirements Active Security Clearance with an appropriate Polygraph is required. Pay Range $165,000 - $215,000 The RealmOne pay range is a guideline and may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.
