The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology are recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant-Specialty Care in various settings. These positions serve as clinical support staff for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic. Opportunity Highlights: Positions available for both Inpatient and Outpatient Inpatient opportunity: a full-time FTE works 13 12-hour shifts/month, with some weekend coverage, no call, and flexibility in scheduling Outpatient opportunity: predictable 8-5 schedule, no weekends or call, with incentive compensation plan Responsibilities include: Work independently and collaboratively to provide neurological patient care in outpatient settings Communicate with physicians regarding patient conditions, diagnostic results, and symptoms Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions Perform treatments, conduct patient and family education, and facilitate clinical research Require basic computer skills, problem solving, willingness to learn, and adaptability across work settings Shift 40 hours per week Minimum Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care (6435): Master of Science in Nursing Missouri RN license or multi-state license via Nurse Licensure Compact; must apply for recognition if residency changes Recognition from Missouri Board of Nursing Physician Assistant (6804): PA licensure by Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts Anticipated Hiring Range Salary: $90,251 - $147,285 annually Grade: PAT-012 University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER SPECIALTY CARE 6435 / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SPECIALTY CARE 6804 Internal applicants can find their university title via the Talent Profile in myHR.
