-Requisition Number AMER29081 Employment Type Full-time Location Bogota **Job Summary**: - Record-to-report (R2R) is the area responsible for the management accounting process, including the posting, processing and preparation of financial information for all entities in the Americas Region where Zimmer has a presence, including the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Chile and Colombia.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**: - Global Business Services (GBS) drives alignment among business units to integrate governance, locations, and business practices across the enterprise to achieve transformative performance improvements. GBS drives collaboration and sharing to improve delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and business outcomes. The Americas GBS RTR Intern has responsibility for supporting various reporting and accounting tasks including assisting in month end close process and providing general accounting support. - Help the Accounting team with all activities related month end close, reconciliations, research, financial and external Reporting and general accounting activities. **Expected Areas of Competence**: - Ability to learn and work as a team member - Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints - Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills. Understanding of established general accounting policies & procedures. **Education/Experience Requirements**: - Accounting university student, last semesters and enabled by their institution to carry out academic internship program. - The position is based in Bogotá, Colombia.
