The Senior Manager will oversee the second line of operational risk management for the Bank’s Control and Support Functions (CSF). Responsibilities include advising, challenging, and ensuring effective risk management practices using operational risk tools, policies, and standards, with a focus on proactive risk management. Key Responsibilities: Promote a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank connections. Provide expertise and challenge to CSFs’ operational risk practices, utilizing tools like Risk Control Self Assessments, scenario analysis, and Key Risk Indicators. Build strong partnerships, stay aligned with business priorities, and serve as the main contact for CSFs’ internal control teams and global support functions. Identify opportunities for enhancing operational risk oversight and support the development of risk management frameworks. Support risk assessments, review committees, thematic analysis, and root cause investigations of operational risk events. Assist in reporting on operational risk profiles, representing Global Operational Risks at risk committees, and providing insights and metrics. Collaborate across non-financial risk areas and global teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management. Support regulatory compliance efforts and team initiatives to improve risk oversight capabilities. Integrate risk appetite and culture considerations into daily operations and decision-making. Maintain effective controls and ensure compliance with operational risk, regulatory, AML/ATF, and conduct standards. Foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment. Desired Skills and Qualifications: University degree in business, mathematics, engineering, or related fields; Master’s preferred. Strong knowledge of wholesale capital markets, lending, payments, and treasury processes. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, control, or related fields. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
