- What you will be doing -: Under broad administrative direction of the Sub - Regional Sales Manager that will provide strategic leadership to local sales and business development team in order to support the overall sales strategy and profitability objectives. The BD and Sales Executive is Responsible for providing, professional, and efficient service to our customers to uphold the reputation that sets us apart from our competitors. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for understanding all World Courier’s product & services offerings and becoming a champion for practical integration of “real world” solutions. - Implement local sales strategies to sell and implement customer tailored solutions in the territory. - Gather information; analyzes and develops strategies under the Regional Sales & Business Development Director - Latin America to address dynamics that may affect area of responsibility using solution-selling techniques. - Works closely with other sales managers, business development sales executives, strategic account to implement key initiatives and create new partnerships. - Manage Salesforce technology requirements such as solutions and systems. - Responsible for the delivery to the sales organization in its specific country in order to support territory management, compensation tracking, customer reports and requirements. - Participate of sales training programs and educational plans for the sales team in Latin America. - Help to develop and conduct sales strategies and implements those strategies within the field sales organization by providing training and educational tools. - Provide assistance to lead sales team goal setting and forecasting process. - Maintain reports and KPI’s applicable for the country. - Perform the Budget for the Country Sales/Billing and for the sales related expenses. - Develop and generate opportunities with existing and new customers. - Help to organize all the events World Courier will participate in the country. - Attend national and international meetings when applicable. - Performs related duties as assigned. - Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, marketing, or similar vocations. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years related and progressively responsible experience. - Strong understanding of the pharma industry and key relationships. - Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace. - Demonstrates use of project management techniques. - Understands sales trends and operating assumptions. - Excellent negotiation & organizational skills. - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - Excellent integration, implementation and management skills. - Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs. - Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning and goal setting, successful strategic and consultative selling techniques and related information. - Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of various diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment. REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Business Development & Sales Sub - Regional Manager MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrates executive presence. Strong coaching and sales experience; strong sales management abilities. Strong leadership & presentation skills. Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships with others. Fluent in Spanish and English. Ability to direct activities of others, including coaching, training, guiding, developing, and managing.
