It is also a perfect wedding venue with unique spaces such as the cloister, private church, and panoramic terraces. We are hiring a Waiter/ess for the 2025 season. Reporting to the maître, the selected candidate will be responsible for a specific station in the restaurant. Key responsibilities include: 1. Ensuring proper set-up and aesthetic arrangement of the dining room and tables. 2. Welcoming guests, guiding them to tables, presenting menus and wine lists, and managing table service. 3. Maintaining your station according to standards at all times. 4. Developing comprehensive knowledge of menus. 5. Coordinating and supervising assigned commis waiters. 6. Working collaboratively across departments to ensure timely service and smooth operations. 7. Participating in training sessions to enhance professional skills and guest satisfaction. To be successful, you should have: - A degree in tourism or hospitality management. - Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. - Knowledge of mise en place techniques for à la carte and banqueting services. - Fluent in Italian and English. - A positive personality with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail. - Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive in anticipating guest needs, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
