We are seeking an Assistant Vice President - Forensics to join our Forensic Accounting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Accounting Managers. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of forensic accounting principles but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. The Forensic Assistant Vice President will be part of a group that champions team members to utilize their unique skillsets within our diverse portfolio of work ranging from property damage, product recall, liability, theft/fidelity, and business interruption / lost profits. Our group encourages continuous learning that allows everyone to grow and develop an autonomous mindset in a supportive environment. **Job Responsibilities: - Lead a team of forensic accountants part of our Global Resource Center, that supports the work of our experts in forensic accounting, economic damages, and valuations. - Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust and client relationships. - Review and measure large-loss commercial insurance claims and other assignments. Claims include property damage, product recall, liability, theft/fidelity, and business interruption/lost profits. Businesses will consist of a wide range of industries and sizes. - Attend existing and new client meetings (telephone, online, or in-person) and communicate findings in meetings to clients and team members. - A significant portion of the projects will be from the US and other global offices, but also with the opportunity to build a book of local business. **Attributes & Background**: - Bachelor or Graduate Degree with a major in accounting, finance, or economics. - 10+ years of public accounting experience or a closely related field; with at least five years of experience in forensic accounting and/or measuring commercial insurance claim losses. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to do VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. - An advanced level of English is required (C1 or above); with excellent verbal communication and business writing skills. This is a hybrid position.
