We are seeking a Credit Success Analyst, with a startup mindset, to help deliver Credit Success through underwriting loan requests, overseeing dynamic portfolio reviews, executing account management strategies, and contributing to the development of analytics which lead to effective credit policies. This role is for a credit professional who is passionate about using innovative credit solutions and advanced technologies. This position is 100% remote, based in Colombia, and will report to the Head of Credit. **As the Credit Success Analyst you will...** - Analyze origination risk factors and recommend/implement improvements in underwriting criteria, lending policies and standards to increase loan volumes within the risk appetite - Review and monitoring credit risk for Tribal lending products, and recommend/implement line management, pricing and authorizations strategies - Support new data acquisition and consult other functional areas on current data architecture - Prepare data for monthly Credit Committee Meetings and other ad hoc loan portfolio performance analysis - Provide support and develop rule/decision tree strategy recommendations for loan origination system implementation and maintenance - Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Data Operation, Compliance/Legal and other departments to assess risk with respect to future new and enhanced lending products - Partner with Collection team to enable sound collection strategies as well as delinquency reporting - Build rapport with data teams to streamline two-way communication to ensure data quality - Query the Data Warehouse (Snowflake) and other databases to extract, summarize, and save relevant data - Work with the Data Science team to design and build predictive models in Python/R/SAS - Evaluate, implement, and monitor third-party customer data and scoring solutions - Prepare supporting information and present findings to management - Generate periodic reports for leadership and assist with ad hoc requests - Help formulate and revise credit policies and procedures to address new product enhancements and regulations **Who You Are** - 3+ years of Credit Risk/Analytics experience in financial services, fintechs, or telcos - Strong programming experience in SAS, Python and/or R - Experience with relational databases and SQL syntax, hands-on with Looker, SAP BusinessObjects/Tableau reporting preferred - Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and consultative skills - Ability to successfully present complex analyses to internal customers with different technical backgrounds - Understanding of fundamentals of credit risk for small business and consumers. - Ability to work both independently and as part of the team - Top of class in terms of analytical ability, deductive reasoning, and the ability to understand business financials - Have a high level of attention to detail, and understand that the little things matter - Are intellectually curious, and show interest in understanding the "why" behind requirements and processes, in order to make suggestions for continuous improvement - Are able to work efficiently and understand the intricacies of credit criteria, moving with urgency to get customers credit approved as quickly as possible - Proficiency using Excel for financial analysis with advanced coding and data manipulation skills a plus - Fluent in English and Spanish is required - Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work. - Enthusiastic, positive, friendly and a great sense of humor! **Benefits** - 100% employer paid healthcare insurance for team members and family. - 13th month salary. - Unlimited time off and all public holidays. - Allowance for home office equipment. - Headspace subscription. - Highly supportive team culture. - 100% remote, flexible work environment. - Market-competitive salaries. - Top-notch project management, productivity, and team engagement tools. - Unlimited
