We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join a dynamic team working with one of our key clients in the financial services sector . You will be instrumental in guiding agile teams and fostering an environment focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and achieve their objectives. Coach team members on Agile principles, values, and Scrum practices to enhance their understanding and execution. Identify and remove impediments or obstacles blocking the team's progress, working proactively to clear the path for development. Support the Product Owner in effective backlog management, refinement, and prioritization techniques. Foster strong communication and collaboration within the Scrum team and with external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, experimentation, and adaptation based on retrospective findings. Shield the team from external interferences and distractions that could impact focus and delivery. Track and communicate team progress using relevant Agile metrics, providing visibility into team performance and delivery forecasts. Ensure the team adheres to the agreed-upon Agile processes and practices. Requirements: Proven experience working effectively as a Scrum Master for software development teams. Solid understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile principles and values. Demonstrable experience facilitating Scrum events and coaching teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience working within the financial services or a similarly regulated industry. Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Nice to Haves: Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I/II). Experience with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe). Technical background or understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience coaching teams or organizations new to Agile methodologies.
