**Responsibilities** - Responsible for daily interaction with clients, defense attorneys/adjusters and doctor offices - Manage attorney schedule efficiently (attorney-client meetings, court appearances, etc.) - Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems. Run reports - Follow internal intake procedures after a client retains our firm - Enter and process all legal and medical mail, including AMEs, PQMEs, etc. - Prepare correspondence to opposing attorney, and/or insurance company - Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases - Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload - Complete assignments and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisors **Qualifications** - At least 1-2 years of Workers' Compensation Law experience - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required - Excellent relationship building, process improvement, and communication skills are required - Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field - Experience with AMEs, PQMEs, etc. - Experience with Case Management Software Here at The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC **we offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.
