Convergint Project Manager Job Description Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, directing, application engineering, budgeting, procurement, and managing field installation, start-up, and closeout processes. You will ensure projects are executed within budget and schedule, maintaining positive cash flow. Additionally, you will serve as a key interface with customers, responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance. Role Responsibilities Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to promote our culture and attract top talent. Manage all aspects of assigned projects (typically up to $1M), from award to completion, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery. Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans; review costs, negotiate contracts, and supervise project design and installation. Communicate project requirements effectively to the team and maintain accurate records of project status and changes. Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as their primary service provider and proactively managing project risks and changes. Oversee procurement, establish milestones, analyze costs, and review financial performance to meet financial goals. Manage scope, quality, delivery, and contractual obligations, including subcontractor oversight. Perform other duties as required. Required Skills and Experience Project management experience in technical environments such as building automation, fire alarm, electronic security, or AV systems. Leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team building. Proactive, adaptable, and capable of influencing others with strong communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution and cost control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT networking knowledge.
