We are seeking a Level 1 Application Support Specialist responsible for providing first-level support for various applications and systems. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure smooth operation, handling user concerns, performing routine tasks, and escalating issues when necessary. Key Focus Areas - Application Monitoring and Support: Provide 24/7 support for scheduled batch applications and jobs related to Revenue & Pricing Systems, Engineering, Apps & Analytics systems. - Incident and Request Management: Act as the first resolver for incidents, requests, and access concerns, ensuring timely resolution for applications like TM1 PAX, BankPortals, Anet, etc. - Billing and Financial Reporting: Manage Visa Billing activities, generate financial reports for entities like Authorize.net, CyberSource, Playspan, and run scripts for Client Incentives reports. - Documentation and Process Improvement: Document processes, maintain trackers, and participate in automating Level 1 tasks. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and support batch applications and jobs. - Analyze alerts, report statuses, and escalate as needed. - Perform start/stop/restart of jobs and communicate statuses. - Resolve incidents and user requests promptly. - Handle application-related user concerns. - Complete Visa Billing activities within SLAs. - Generate financial reports on schedule. - Run scripts for incentives reporting. - Maintain documentation and participate in automation efforts. This is a hybrid position . The in-office schedule will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. - 1-2 years of application support experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. - Familiarity with ITIL is a plus. Preferred Skills - Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems. - Basic SQL and scripting knowledge. - Understanding of financial systems and billing processes.
