Our vision is to improve the way people interact with money. **What**: The Customer Engineer will be responsible to on-board new clients to the minka network by being the technical point of contact during client facing calls, proof-of-concept implementations, and on-boarding. This is a customer-facing role in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment and therefore requires exceptional soft skills in order to quickly establish credibility with our clients and partners, and to guide them in focusing their developers on building financial services rather than infrastructure. **Responsibilities**: **How**: **Be an owner**: - ** Build proof of concepts & help customers execute their product goals** - Lead initiatives to facilitate smoother and faster sales cycles, as well as higher win rates - Give consultative presentation to C-level business executives, as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience - Design and deploy integrations between minka_ and the customer core transactional systems **Be a solver**: - ** Serve as the go-to technical resource to the sales team during the pre-sales lifecycle.** - Help define better processes to support the sales team, and provide insights to the engineering and product teams to improve our API. - Build solutions, analysis and analytics to match prospect’s business and technical requirements **Write it down**: - Conduct needs analysis and technical scoping sessions with prospective customers to gather and document key requirements - ** Document product gaps to our engineering and product teams** that will help drive better product-market fit and win rates - Learn, learn and learn at least 1/4 of your time **Required skills**: - Know what is a bit and what is bitcoin. - 5+ years of experience working in software developed, with any modern tech stack - Knows how the internet and the web works on the network and protocol level, from TCP/IP to REST APIs - Experienced in solution architecting, project scoping and product demonstration skills - Positive, motivated attitude, with an emphasis on excellent teamwork. - Bachelor, Masters University Degree in information technology or computer science. - Fluent English and Spanish **Preferred skills**: - Passionate about technology and about improving financial services. - Previous experience working in a pre-sales consulting role. - Experience using automation platforms - IFTTT is a strong plus - Seen Mr. Robot tv show.
