Role: Facilities Technician We are seeking a Facilities Technician responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and cleaning activities through planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor management, and quality control to ensure operational efficiency of our facilities. Main Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise cleaning and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. Manage and monitor maintenance, cleaning, and construction contracts with service providers. Ensure compliance with contractual terms with vendors. Maintain detailed and updated records of all maintenance activities. Conduct daily inspections and generate reports on the facilities' condition. Key Requirements: Technical, technologist, or professional degree. Valid CONTE card. Desirable: Certification as a height coordinator. Indispensable Qualifications: Education: Technical, technologist, or professional in electrical or electronic maintenance. Experience: Minimum 2 years in maintenance and general services. Knowledge in: Corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, UPS, electrical panels. Generator and substation operation. Fire pumps and systems. HVAC systems. Elevators. Building maintenance: painting, plumbing, repair, and tiling. Medium and low voltage electrical networks. Working at heights (with certification preferred). Management of general services and cleaning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Leadership and management of operational staff. Location / Schedule / Travel: On-site in Barranquilla.
