As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our clients by performing essential bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional client service. You will also assist in process improvement initiatives, supporting the Account Manager/Senior Manager with onboarding tasks, and ensuring smooth operations within the accounting team. **Responsibilities** - Performs bookkeeping and accounting activities necessary to close the client’s books, including but not limited to DSS reconciliation and approval, bank activity review, AP invoice encoding, review and approval, vendor statement reconciliation, and recording of journal entries (payroll, expenses, monthly accruals, prepayments, etc.) in the designated accounting software. - Performs the work as assigned which includes but not limited to: - Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process. - Verifying that transactions are accurately recorded in the appropriate ledger. - Entering data, maintaining records, and generating reports. - Ensuring the accuracy of data entry from source documents into accounting software. - Performing entry-level accounting tasks for various clients. - Collaborates with other team members to deliver exceptional client service consistent with our philosophy. This includes answering questions, providing information, making suggestions, and ensuring appropriate follow-through and resolution. - Communicates effectively with team members at different levels of the organization when needed, maintains confidentiality, and represents the face of Over Easy Office client service. - They can readily jump in and assist when a team member is absent or falls behind on tasks within the same POD. - They can work independently on all tasks with mínimal instruction needed and are adept problem solvers. - They can review any executed tasks and address encountered issues, seeking assistance from respective leaders if needed, before sending reports. - They can assist the Account Manager/Senior Manager with onboarding tasks and play a key role in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives: - Analyzing current processes to identify areas for improvement and conducting root cause analysis. - Designing and implementing new processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. - Managing process documentation, including SOPs, training videos, and other special requests from clients or the Senior Manager.
