KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support Office engagement - Communicate with sponsor engagement teams from 20+ funding offices to gather requirements, respond to queries, and provide support or training. Collaborate with internal production teams to relay feedback and resolve issues effectively. Create or develop communications materials - Support strategic communications initiatives for sponsor content features, including developing playbooks, calendars, field guidance, training materials, and internal newsletters or memos. Knowledge management and processes - Establish and maintain knowledge management standards to meet communication needs. Monitor team outputs, recommend process improvements, and escalate issues or risks as needed. Support staff onboarding, training, and mentoring, while contributing to reporting and analysis in collaboration with leadership. Support Lead and peers - Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members, including report creation, task coordination, and issue escalation. Serve as Officer in Charge during absences, managing team operations and representing peers in Partnership-wide meetings. Strategic planning - Contribute to the strategy for shaping the sponsor experience regarding clear, impactful content and communications to sponsors. Recommend strategies to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of sponsor engagement features year over year. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification - Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, publishing, marketing, product development or equivalent. Demonstrated success in marketing, publishing, communications or equivalent. Required Professional Experience - 3 years' experience in marketing, communications, journalism, project management, product, or customer experience development, including people management. - Experience in working across cultures and within complex organizational structures. - Proven creative acumen, with coaching or peer training experience a benefit. - Attention to detail, ability to understand and adhere to branding guidelines and communications style guides. - Flexible and willing to travel per World Vision policy. - Knowledge of Child Sponsorship and development programming, preferably with World Vision. Required Language(s) - Excellent written and verbal English is required; additional languages are an asset. Required travel and/or work environment accommodations - Occasional international travel may be required. Position's physical requirements - As expected for a virtual office environment with the addition of travel and the need to accommodate work across multiple time zones. Preferred Experience, Knowledge and/or other Qualifications - Proven experience in marketing, communications, or supporter/customer engagement—ideally within international development, nonprofit, or cause-based environments. - Creative, innovative thinker with some analytical and process-orientated skills. - Highly organised and adept in coordinating activities and meeting multiple deadlines. - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen understanding of narrative, tone, and audience needs. - Skilled in stakeholder engagement across cultures, time zones, and organisational levels. - Strategic thinker and content development capabilities a benefit. - Highly proficient in Canva, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
