Position Summary Responsible for providing commercial support to customers in Colombia for ITT products including Bornemann (Twin Screw & PCP), Goulds Pumps (Centrifugal), and Rheinhutte Pumps (Centrifugal) aftermarket and service. This role involves all products with Contractors and End User customers in Colombia. Support in preparing and managing competitive quotations for high, medium, and low specification requirements on time, meeting customer specifications, and following legal and commercial T&C. Follow up and keep updated database of opportunities for the Colombian market, as well as support all order development with local and factory contract administrators. Maintain updated account plans VBCE and GDP. Participate actively in all business dealings with related customers, supporting peers for other ITT products in GPC. Essential Responsibilities Manage orders and sales annual budget for Colombia, defending margin requirements for assigned products and parts. Manage competitive, on-time, high-quality, and technically compliant proposals following T&C requirements. Lead and supervise quotations prepared by Application Engineers or proposals at the factory. Support customer in developing specifications for new projects and follow these opportunities through all development phases until order closure. Keep high-quality, updated information for management such as VBCE, GDP, EQL, weekly and monthly sales reports. Stay informed about new products, technologies, improvements, upgrades, and modifications. Understand objections in each business to effectively control and close purchase orders. Lead and participate in project kick-off meetings. Enter and clear orders with local operations or factory, depending on incoterms. Establish networking with contractors and engineering firms. Build close relations with suppliers for competitive pricing and services. Adhere to IP-500 Commercial Guidelines. All other responsibilities related to new equipment, parts, and service performance to improve business in the area assigned. Manage expenses budget in accordance with company policies. Position Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering degree with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. 3-5 years of experience in similar roles. Knowledge of centrifugal, PCP, and Twin-Screw pumps. Preferably with knowledge in pump maintenance and service. Preferably with Sales and Marketing specialization. Proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to face challenges. Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Customer-oriented approach. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Self-motivated with high work ethics. Less than 50% travel required. Skills and Knowledge: Experience with rotating equipment, positive displacement pumps, mechanical seals, electric motors, engines, instrumentation, and pump accessories is preferred. Experience preparing proposals, understanding cost components, and profit structures. Knowledge of Colombian market sectors such as O&G, Chemical, Food, Power, and W&WW. Hydraulics knowledge and customer specifications development. Familiarity with standards like ANSI B73.1M, API-610, API-682, and API 676. Fluent in English is mandatory. Ethical business conduct based on respect, responsibility, and integrity. Self-starter with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
