Labor & Employment Litigation Associate (LA) The Labor and Employment Department seeks an associate with 2-3 years of employment litigation experience (Class of 2022-2023) to join the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have experience with employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations. The candidate must possess strong analytical and writing skills and experience with all (or most) of the following is preferred: responding to demand letters, drafting position statements and dispositive motions, handling discovery (including eDiscovery); and preparing for witness interviews and/or depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Experience providing advice and counseling on a range of workplace law issues, including workplace accommodation, employment and separation agreements, reductions in-force, and employment related policies, is also preferred. Candidates must have management side law firm experience and be admitted to the California bar. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $215,000-$415,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certificates or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. __ Note: Lateral Hub does not accept applications submitted by search firms.
