Main Responsibilities - Lead and develop engineering teams by providing mentorship, feedback, and growth opportunities—fostering trust, learning, and accountability. - Manage people, responsible for coaching, career development, performance reviews, and team well-being. - Pioneer the design and evolution of scalable delivery platforms and CI/CD pipelines, balancing short-term goals with long-term technical vision. - Collaborate closely with leadership to align platform capabilities with evolving delivery and business needs. - Own and execute technical initiatives, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder communication. - Promote reliability by leading incident response and postmortems, embedding operational excellence. - Champion DevEx through best practices in usability, speed, and self-service while considering performance, security, and capacity. - Hire, onboard, and build team capabilities, ensuring talent and smooth ramp-up of new engineers. - Foster a metrics- and outcome-driven mindset, leading cost optimization and observability improvements across the stack. - Advocate non-functional best practices, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning. - Partner with senior leaders to influence platform strategy and communicate team value.
