As a specialist, you will help champion employees and managers with all things people related and ensure all employees have an excellent employee experience at J.S. Held. - Coordinate and assist with employee full life cycle from hire to retire - Execution of transactional core People Operations including but not limited to onboarding, new-hire orientations, terminations, exit interviews, employee life cycle including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance - Provides a dedicated and effective HR advisory services to employees with general inquires (Tier 1 support) - Tracks data and/or consolidate employee responses as requested and follow-up with People Services team as needed to obtain information and identify insights - Creates and/or distributes HR communication to organization - Supports key HR initiatives and projects - Performs all other duties as assigned Attributes & Background - 2+ years of relevant human resources experience - Experience with HR Systems and processes. - Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. - High attention to detail and an ownership mindset as it relates to solving employee challenges and issues. - Knowledge of US and LATAM employment laws and regulations, payroll and benefits laws and requirements - Honesty, integrity, and strong knowledge of HR principles and associate relation skills. - Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify concerns or objections. - Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. - Must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems, and an ability to relate to staff at all levels of the organization. - Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - High level of proficiency speaking and writing English J.S.
