Software Development Expert The role of a Software Development Expert involves contributing to the success of Global HR Technology by delivering high-quality software solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring specific individual goals and initiatives are executed in support of the business strategies and objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader systems and knowledge. - Collaborate with teammates to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications. - Develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. - Apply best development and design practices and participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code. - Understand Java technologies and apply them effectively in software development. - Develop, refine, and tune continuous integrations between applications. - Analyze and resolve technical defects with excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. - Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. - Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time. - Provide third-level support to business users and understand how risk should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Requirements: - Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline. - Extensive experience in object-oriented software design and development. - 3+ years of technical working experience in system analysis, coding, debugging & testing. - Hands-on working experience with Java/J2EE, Java Spring, and Java frameworks (JDBC, Hibernate). Web technologies experience (React, JQuery, JSON) is also beneficial. - Experience in database design and development, as well as data migration tools. - Basic knowledge of IDEs for coding languages. - Understanding of cloud-hosted environments and technical working experience in a full or hybrid Agile environment. - Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments. - Creativity and flexibility regarding identifying technical solutions to resolve business problems.
