We are looking for a Petroleum Engineer to work in our Customer Success team, to ensure that our Latin America customers are delighted working with Tachyus. The right hire will present crucial petrotechnical information, train customer petroleum engineers how to use Tachyus software, and onboard new projects for clients. This role may involve visits and short-term assignments to customers in various locations across Latin America, such as Buenos Aires, Argentina; Bogotá, Colombia; Mexico, and other regional hubs. As a Customer Success Engineer at Tachyus, you will collaborate closely with our Customer Success Managers, IT specialists, and researchers. Your primary goal will be to enhance the satisfaction of our existing customers, secure renewals, and drive successful upsells. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering / Geology with proven reservoir engineering experience. - At least 5 years' experience working as a reservoir engineer or in related positions - Proven experience and strong knowledge in reservoir modeling and simulation - Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python). - Demonstrated skills with data analysis are a plus. - Excellent written and oral proficiency in Spanish and English - Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus, as candidates will use these tools to report their activities, track project progress, and manage customer interactions in alignment with internal workflows. - Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills - Be willing to continue learning and provide specialist training - Aptitude for understanding technology and explaining it clearly and appropriately to clients - Cultural awareness and sensitivity to work in a truly international environment - Proficient in Excel Why Join Tachyus?
