We’re seeking a Cloud Administrator with expertise in Kubernetes , AWS , and containerization to lead patch management and system maintenance in cloud environments. This role ensures our cloud infrastructure remains secure, up-to-date, and resilient through proactive patching and automation. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Patching: Perform security and maintenance updates on AWS cloud environments , Kubernetes clusters , and containerized applications (e.g., Docker). Prioritize patching for critical vulnerabilities in Linux/Windows systems and cloud-native services. Automation & Tooling: Design and deploy automated patching workflows using AWS Systems Manager , Ansible , Jenkins , or Terraform. Optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless patch deployment across containerized workloads. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor patch compliance and system health using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. Resolve post-patch issues in Kubernetes environments (e.g., pod failures, node disruptions). Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices (e.g., CIS benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework). Maintain audit-ready documentation of patches, updates, and system changes. Partner with DevOps and security teams to align patching schedules with deployment cycles. Technical Expertise: 4+ years managing cloud infrastructure ( AWS required ). Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting). Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, Helm, or similar). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Soft Skills: Fluent English (B2+ level) for cross-team collaboration. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
