Customer Service Representative – Metadata Operations Customer Service Representative – Metadata Operations Direct message the job poster from Straive Customer Service Representative – Metadata Operations This role supports the accurate processing of digital content and metadata across various Digital Service Providers (DSPs) by resolving customer inquiries and ensuring the integrity of artist profiles and visual assets. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide excellent service. Experience: 1-2 years What you'll do: Action artist name change tickets by emailing DSPs or using DSP-specific forms. Follow specialized workflow for iTunes/Apple artist name changes using Transporter. Coordinate with Label Managers for artist name changes in internal systems and generate metadata updates for DSPs (e.g., Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, YouTube, TikTok, Meta). Resolve inactive pixel tickets for video thumbnails in iTunes Connect, including cropping. Edit images (e.g., Mac Preview) to crop inactive pixels and export as JPEG. Update video metadata in iTunes Connect with corrected thumbnail files. Monitor ticket statuses and update records. Ensure accurate data processing, adhering to DSP requirements and deadlines. Communicate effectively with customers and provide timely updates. Escalate complex issues to internal teams. Who you are: 1-2 years' experience in customer service, data curation, metadata management, or digital content operations. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, especially with stakeholders. Strong observation skills and exceptional attention to detail. Thorough in task completion and proactive in issue resolution. Capable of accurate and consistent work under pressure. High concentration and commitment, even with sensitive documents and intricate workflows. Technical aptitude for digital platforms, internal systems (e.g., Zendesk, iTunes Connect), and specialized software (e.g., S3 clients, image editors). A fast learner with some data curation experience.
