1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Location : Remote, Contractor (Colombia or Latin America countries only) JOB SUMMARY: The IT API Mulesoft Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. As an API Mulesoft Developer, you will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to create scalable, high-performance integrations for various applications and services. This is a full-time, contractor position reporting to the Associate Director, Product API. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform. Integrate MuleSoft APIs with internal and external applications, databases, and cloud services. Ensure seamless API connectivity across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premise environments. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define integration requirements and technical specifications. Create detailed API design specifications and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure high-quality, bug-free implementations. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth API operation. 4. Deployment & Maintenance: Manage the deployment of APIs to the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring proper monitoring and logging. Provide post-deployment support and maintain APIs, addressing issues and implementing changes as needed. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and troubleshoot issues. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for developed APIs, configurations, and integration workflows. 6. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to improve API performance, including load balancing, caching, and scaling. 7. Security & Compliance: Ensure API security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection measures in line with organizational standards and regulations. Stay up to date with the latest trends and features in MuleSoft and API development technologies. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE: 4-6 years experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions. Preferred experience with Java and Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity. Should have experience with various MuleSoft connectors for e.g., SAP, Salesforce, File, Database, etc. Working knowledge of on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configuration. Demonstrated ability to effectively architect solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams. Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions.
